A little help...

Hey, I have some questions about emu servers.

See recently my account got frozen due to my debit card being stolen, and I have to wait awhile until I can pay for a new subscription, until then I'd like to just play on any server.

What I need to know is how to connect to these things, and what are some good private servers.

I think this belongs in Emulator Server Discussion. But anyways, look on wow-v.com for servers and look through the top 100 for a server you might be interested in. Most good servers will have a little guide on how to connect to the server.

Well after you register to the site your looking for, they will often supply a realmlist.

What's a realmlist you ask? well look in your WoW directory folder (often C:Program Files > World Of Warcraft).

Look for the file realmlist.wtf (make a spare copy of this!).

Right click the original realmlist.wtf file, select open with and open with notepad.

Copy the realmlist on the server's site that you want to join and paste it in notepad (the realmlist.wtf file, just incase).

Now that you're registered with the server, open wow in the folder that you have open (usually C:Program Files > World Of Warcraft).

Enter in your username and pass that you entered on the server's website.

Tadaa! you should be able to connect now. Sorry if this guide is horrible and you have trouble understanding it, I typed it up in a few minutes. (I spaced it out because it was a bit hard on the eyes)
