I'm new to the forums but got a question.

Is it possible to example buy a char/account that has CM weapons and transfer it to a existing battle.net account?

Unless you get an account which has a name which is clearly not a real name, no GM would change the name without proof of ID/name change.

Correct.

You could transfer it to a new account with a different first name, and the same surname.

But regardless of what you do, the original owner can always take their account or characters back and leave you banned. That's why it is never a good idea to transfer anything to your main account because you could not only lose what you bought, but have your main account banned as well.

There was, and there still is.

You can do it illegally, which is not allowed on this forum and as the name suggests is actually against the law because it requires forging documents. There's also another non-public method that a few people know about, but nobody legitimate who knows it offers the service.

So for all practical intents and purposes it is only surname to surname.
