PTR help

I am using Saphera's guide to DL and installing the PTR client and patch he specified. I make a username and passoword the exact same like he says.. this all works. After this i logon and it begins DL a patch....everytime after I logon actaully.. Is there just alot of patches or am I doing something wrong???

Edit: OK its done DL patches... takes a real long time to get. (retrieivng char list...)d/c. Now its a real fast login but it d/c as soon as it gets to char select screen. Anyway to get past this?

Well I just had a huge post typed out but it d/c as it was saving it so heres a condensed version. I thought it was an emulated PTR and thats what everyone was using when they talk about using TBC stuff on a PTR... sorry bout that. Ive never used a PTR or emulated server so im just doing my best to set this up. As crazy as your cat pic was it actaully clarifies your words I wrote that at school were pics are disabled and thought you just wrote "WTF are you on" with a typo. Basically I thought you were insulting me which is why I replied sarcasticly. I honestly wouldn't have put that If I knew you were just confused about what I was asking. Same thing for your post Glyn, I thought I was being insultad.. I wouldnt complain about people not knowing what I was talking about
Ive figured most of hte stuff out now and found out I was missing the realmlist edit and that was my problem. So once again sorry guys. Hmm.. now its just unable to connect to the server.. anyone have a server that works?

I'got same prob iwas on nr. 9 when i'got d/c and ilogged in again nr. 778... and then iwas on 643 and got /dc!!!
