If these scriptkids can go at least 2 years with no bans in wow, then I will consider.
Other than there are more fun things to do than supporting washed out charity.

False advertising? Breach of contract? Class action suit? Ready to pay for some lawyers to fly to Germany? Can you imagine the stench of a bunch of botters in a courtroom LOL Botting, private servers, scamming all occupies a netherworld in which there is no law. That is the price you pay for being a criminal.
It's probably not illegal what he did anyways. But they are both morally shady. Botters rob people of their enjoyment of a paid game - can't count the ways botters shit all over everything And because you can put a price tag on this, I believe it will eventually be illegal. The law will catch up. And then, someone like the creator of Honorbuddy would be tried as would a meth manufacturer,
In the meantime I hope all the botters get scammed, taste of their own medicine.
There is no honor amongst thieves.

What?
Botting isn't illegal in any way, selling something with lifetime access then revoking that access just because they feel like it... That's illegal.

No one has to go cross-continental to sue Bossland GmbH, they have a law firm in the states who represented them while being sued here and lost. What happened here with Bossland GmbH is a clear cut case of Breach of Contract, regardless if they sold a key/license for a penny. They won't win.
They do still have an option to retract what they stated and provide alternative's to honor the 'Lifetime' license to Honorbuddy... IMHO, I'd say it'd be fair if they offered everyone who purchased a Lifetime license prior to the change and offer customers 1 session Lifetime key only to everyone who purchased sessions over 2 or more sessions. If people want more than the one they can purchase the new license structure.
So if someone purchase 100 keys at 3 sessions per key, the customer would still have 100 keys and 100 sessions "Lifetime," but down 200 sessions. I think thats reasonable.

No....
Just...
No....
It's not even close to reasonable, they paid either for all 3 keys that were merged or for 3 sessions. Taking any of that away is ****ing stupid.

It's simple. Don't re-buy their keys and they'll crater into the ground. NO ONE should support them after what they did to their customers that were there when HB first started. Lost 10 lifetime keys from 2012 to this. I damn sure won't be back.
PS not even worth it to bot at current gold prices.

This.
Also watch the prices of items and gold go up by 200% since HB is basically dead now.

To be honest I didnt play retail WoW for atleast 5 years and I dont know a lot about the Honorbuddy staff but what I read here annoys the **** out of me.
Lifetime can also be applied to a version of a program (you buy v2. as soon as v3 will be released you need to pay again to use it).
In general the idea of lifetime is stupid considering a bot is constant continuing work. How do you think Bossland should sustain the development and lawsuits without any new income? If I pay you 30k€ once (average yearly salary in germany) you also dont want to work three years in which you would have earned 90k€ over time.
Yes I think it was stupid from Bosslands side to even sell lifetime products but what you read here on a regular base is a way higher level.

My relationship with Bossland extends only as far as I am paying them for a service (i.e. accessing a bot). Anything from their end towards other issues is not my concern.
The fact is I think that Bossland thought themselves untouchable in Germany and thus never thought this far ahead. But at the same time they have lost basically ever case against them so far.
At this point more money is unlikely to solve the issues they face as they need to basically have several key rulings turned completely around. And then Blizzard will appeal and the cycle goes on and on. I am not here to support their fights in court.
