    Question about bought wow account?

So I've bought a wow account some time ago, but I wasn't sure of how secure I was from the original owner recalling it... I've changed the email, password, managed to get the real name(even though the original owner used a fake name) and security question changed and I've renamed all of the characters.
Now I wanna know does blizzard have a database with previous information, like the previous email, password etc...
Also the account has mostly purchases made by my credit card, but the first 2 purchases were made over his paypal (could he recall it with these?).

    Thanks

Short answer, yes, they can retrace all the activity on an account and have it reversed if the Original Owner contacted them to do so. However, in your case, if the account was under a bogus name when you bought it, I can't imagine he has any matching ID. That would make it extremely difficult to prove himself as the owner of the account. I'm not sure if Blizzard's customer support checks the transaction history in terms of recalls - I believe that's only for billing purposes. You should be fine.

Yes, blizz can reverse all changes made on account if the owner recall it with CD KEY and ID.
A "safest" method is to transfer character to other account.

Ashoran, do not give reputation or thanks to EboLLA. I have already reported them for self-repping and using multiple accounts. They have been banned here several times already.

The Original Owner, with enough proof, can recall an account no matter what you do to it.

You can transfer the characters off the account, fill out the form to have the whole B.net account permanently deleted, change that account's name, redo it all over again and he can still get the characters back.

Whether the owner will go through the hoops and effort required to do it is the real question, and the answer is probably they won't.

Well first off the fake name will make it impossible for either of you to prove the real owner unless your a bad ass at making fake id's an/or can get one. so with all the info you changed i doubt they let him do any thing at all.

if he can provide them with the reciept and the cd from the first time the account got created i believe he could get it back. but its more gonna be a pain in the ass to get this done.
if you wanna be safe id say merge it to your own bnet account then its safer.

There is always a risk in buying accounts, if the original owner wants their account back. It's definetly possible, you should only buy from people you trust. I remember back in vanilla buying a rogue with full bloodfang from ebay, cost me three digits and he recalled it a few months later as soon as Burning Crusade came out. Even with the original owners ID, if you get an email from blizzard saying the account has been locked and you need to supply ID, its likely the original owner is trying to recall the account and if two people supply id, they will ask for the ID on a newspaper with todays date and/or the CD Key.

It's never 100% secure so just remember that it could be taken from you at any point but with a reputable seller, you should be all good.
