Dont be mad on them they are losing right now but remember all the years when they could protect us from blizz. Only bad thing is they dont tell customers what exactly is going on you have to read it out the forums

The same reason anyone pays for a risk vs reward situation? For a lot of people it is hope your tool of choice is not banned.. or learn to program, of which they have desire to do.

Unless you physically started the bot and it started playing for you(which isn't possible in 1 second), then it's bullshit. Stop scaremongering.

BUTT PIRATE
I was playing my main as i botted my suecide account and got hit with a IP ban. They claim that i botted on both, i appealed two times and they say that the "warden" cought my main and alt. (i did not and have never botted on my main and did not mule gold with it nor shared guild)
I think that they store routes of profiles, also that the warden can see diff between botwalking and a real user walking. They obv just ban every account on the IP too.

they have like all info about your pc (hardware ids, mac, etc.) included in their bnet auth stuff on every login. so they may see that you are on the same pc too.
Code:
Device-Id: { "RGKY" : xxx, "CPGE" : xxx, "ULNG" : xxx, "SLNG" : xxx, "CNME" : xxx, "UNME" : xxx, "UTCO" : xxx, "CARC" : xxx, "CREV" : xxx, "CLVL" : xxx, "PMEM" : xxx, "PSZE" : xxx, "OVER" : xxx, "CVRA" : xxx, "CFTC" : xxx, "CFTD" : xxx, "CEFC" : xxx, "CEFD" : xxx, "CBRD" : xxx, "CVEN" : xxx, "ANME" : xxx, "ADSC" : xxx, "MAC" : xxx }

Pardon my ignorance, but what was the point of botting on alt if you never used the wealth for main?

The second you inject the bot, you're done for. 100% will be banned

You don't have to start a script for it to hook. Hooking is detected.

They're likely detecting injects or hooks.

My un-educated, most likely improbable hypothesizes:
#1- Data collection of patterned movements automatically being reported to Blizzard for review, i.e you've been moving the exact same way at the exact same pace for hours at a time in the exact same area / zone. An crazy thing I think about sometimes is that Blizzard uploads all (or most of) the movements and interactions of HB leveling / gathering profiles and blacklists them as in-human patterns, and if detected, get reported.
#2- Blizzard Agent (or some other external scanning program / method of Blizzard) detecting HB process(es) in the background, i.e you have a process of HB named "hIyLeEaSdjg1583" showing signs of direct / indirect interaction with WoW, which is in turn reported to Blizzard for review.
#3- The "angry player" report, i.e some douche-bag decides to stalk, maybe even record you obviously botting, rarely happens, but hey, it can happen to anyone.
