Account merging question

So I have this old account that was banned in 2012, and I had a few really good achievements on that account that I kinda want back. Even though the account is banned, would I be able to merge it with my main account to get the achievements? Both accounts are in my name, thanks

I heard that if you merge you only get characters and sadly not achivments, but im not sure, try making a ticket for a gm and ask
