Experience with unbanning 3 yrs banned account

Hello everyone!

It's been a time since I posted here so how you doin guys?

First of all. I know unbanning depends on many factors - Gm's mood, his mood, M.O.O.D and maybe something else. I also know that, most of times they ban, they ban correctly. And this was my case, they've banned me correctly because I was selling golds. And I am aware of it and I do regret it, I really do.

But to the point. All I wanna know is if you guys have some experience with unbanning account which is banned for many years? (Mine is banned for 3 yrs) Like if you post them your story, send them a letter or whatever and it works. Like even if you go to jail and behave properly, your sentence may be shorten. And I think 3 years is pretty much long term in a game for betterment.
There's Legion before us and I want to play with my old characters. I used service of Sephirofl, he's cool guy and helped me many times but he couldn't help me to retrieve this account. I know I'm far far far less experienced than him but I think after that much time the last ticket should be really emotional maybe? What do you guys think?

What's your story if they have unbanned your account after many years?

PS: I don't want to hear stories how big jerk I'm and how should I let this go etc..

I was bannend at the end of tbc because of win trading, gold selling and arena pushing others for real money.

I quitted wow back there and came back around 2 years later. I told them that i had a very bad car accident and was in rehabilitation for all the time. That i dont know anything about the stuff going on on my account. My luck was that i shared my account with some other people, so they saw that there were other ips than mine and that i had roomates that could have logged in as well. (That was actually another lie, back there i lived with my parents..)

They then unbanned me.

Great story and congratz, mate! Unfortunately since then, I've played WoW many times and I have even create some licences I've played on, so similiar story wouldn't be suitable for me.

I was banned about 3 years ago because I bought gametime with gold. Luckily, with the help of Fisher, who had his own unbanning service back then, I was about to recover my account within several tickets, although they were extremely serious and wouldn't want to review my case for about 4-5 tickets, and I was about to give up but then they finally gave in.

I mean, yeah, maybe I bought a month of gametime (probably with RaF) by trading gold, but I honestly don't believe that should've carried a perma ban upon my account, without any prior offense, which I had and played almost since release. Issue was the mistake of trading the gold to a level 1 with a chinese ip, from what I understood.

PS: You're not a jerk and you shouldn't give up on your account, just don't "harass" them with 5 tickets a day, because that won't end well.

I am in a similar situation, trying to get my account unbanned since early 2012. Now I am at the stage when Blizzard's legal department in Versailles sent me a letter confirming that my account will be unbanned (in November 2015) and GM was like 'Nope.'... It took me several days to even convince the customer support about legitimity of that letter while they called me liar all the time until they got a confirmation from their legal. Still Nope afterwards. I was just too busy to proceed with any further actions, but after stumbling upon this thread I'll push it forward again.

I got banned in the 1mil+ user banwave at the end of MoP. And while I do wish I didn't get banned, I just wish I could get a GM to log on my main and alt so I can get my toys + xmog

Going on 4 years banned, all I get these days is the ol' "This issue has already been dealt with" auto reply. All I want is the mounts/achieves to get on the bnet, never gonna happen for me.

If its been a long time, then all you have to do is email them saying you are just logging in and havnt logged in since 4-5years ago (make sure that the time you state had a different ip than the time of your ban) and tell them you have no idea why you are banned and you wish to recover your account back (and that you have changed your email/pass/secret question etc). Follow the steps and you should be good, thats what most of the unban service will tell you to do anyways. Always deny that you had access (or didnt play) to your account prior to your ban.


As long as you can provide verification that it is your account you should have a good chance of getting it back (if you sent a ticket when you got banned asking for a unban that might reduce your success chance).

Moonk1n have tried to helped me but with no result. My problem is, I played on another licence after my ban so I can't use your method, zealalot.
I probably try to send them a letter to Versailles and we will see.

I was banned in 2008 and they still won't unban me. Tried talking to GM's several times.. Used the help of Sephirofl.. still banned to this date

My account was banned in the middle of the cata for gold selling. It was a shock for me, since I have only sold gold to pay for the subscription, not millions each month. I farmed gold manually (who remembers 100k gold cost on healing trinkets?). No bots, no hacking, no cheating. Permanent ban for selling 100k gold each month wtf! Without any warnings or 1/3/7 days or few months temporary ban.

When I tried to appeal my ban - they told me that gold selling is bad, because people who sell gold - most of times hack other players to steal their gold.

I have this ****ers at blizzard. And you know why? Because I did same thing what wow token offers right now.
