Anyone here know how to make an animated gif that really works or is there another way of getting a video from wow model viewer?

if you mean by clicking what you want (the creature and stuff) then go to file,animated gif,name it,then customize the frames,size demensions,etc. then ya...

Well when i try to do that the gif gets all screwed up and looks like s***...

Play around with the # of frames in the gif, I had a lot of trouble doing this when I'd first started :/

in my avatar i just used some screen recording software to record an animation loop then edited it in imageready
