I have a question and since i really Cba to read through 6 pages of poor grammar and idiotic posts, i'll ask. Why would i want to get another rank? So some stupid SoB can't say somthing to me about my rank? As far as i can see i can still browse through the exploits and other forums with this rank, i can't click links by the looks of it, but i wouldn't want to on a site with players who like to scam people.

Secondly, why would i want to Donate to the site? Is there any special reason apart from paying the host fees which am sure with the current donations it should be covered for years to come, if it's for the owner of the site to make some money, i won't do this since this site is about sharing and the users make the forums what it is by sharing exploits, scams and anything else.

Don't get me wrong, i love to help and share ideas. But when i look through the sections most of the things i know are already posted and so i am not going to go above and beyond to try get a silly rank so some 10 year old can't whine at me for being a leecher.

It's more of a status symbol, really. Some people think that by achieving a higher rank on a very popular site such as this, then they in some way are bigger/better/smarter.

Personally I don't care what my rank is, I know what I do and what I can do, and I try to help out others to the best of my ability. If I get some type of recognition for it, then cool, if not, no biggie. I know why I'm doing this, and that's all that matters.

Why wouldn't you want to donate? Personally I'm laid off for awhile from work, otherwise I would have a long time ago. Not because of the hosting fees and costs (which have to be pretty high considering the daily traffic here) but with Donor status you get access to 'special' areas that hold more exclusive content.

Then don't. Noone's forcing you to do anything you don't want to, if you have something original or want to help others with something as simple as answering a question, then feel free. But just because some low-life kiddies think that being a 'leecher' or 'Seargant' status on MMOwned is something to be laughed at, remember, it's the friggin internet

1) Contribute.
2) Donate.

Either one of those will get you out of the lazy leechers group (10 rep is the minimum).
