Wardrobe plus item ID Cheat engine theory
I am sure everyone here remembers the cheat engine quest share exploit. You duel box and then you basically use cheat engine to intercept the quest id when it is shared to be a different quest.
So the idea is basically the same thing but change the item ID of an incoming item. This might even unlock feats of strength on launch as akitosh and other limited release legendary items are currently being debated by blizzard for allowing them into the wardrobe.
I don't have time to test this currently but the general idea is use the old method for quest ID but on an item trade. The reason I believe this this might work is the item does not need to be equipped but only equipable to show in the wardrobe so if the server thinks for a second you own it, then you will.
Also I don't remember the teir 3 transmogrification glitch 100% but if you can get that to work again you will get it forever with the new wardrobe.
Any how lemme know what you think and if you like the idea maybe spread it around to some people who can appreciate it

I thought CE was just an easy way to get a quick ban?

Hardly if your good with it, I used it all the time when you could still quest turn in hack with it. You have to hide the process name and you launch it after wow is open :P

And just resist the urge to hit that speedhack button

Good luck with that, all of it is handled serverside and you only get notified that you gained appearance afterwards. There is no client telling the server "oh i gained item X, pls give appearance"

That is where dual boxing comes in , it is two clients telling the server the wrong info it's a proven method I just don't have time to test I am working literally 70-100 hours a week atm

We also thought that to be the case with quests, but boy were we wrong. Blizzard has a absurd codebase at this point in time, so they actually do forget shit all the time, hence the reason there even is WoW part of Ownedcore.
OP: Sounds like a theory that should be tested. Unfortunately I can not contribute, because I simply dont have disposable accounts atm.

i dont get it....you want to change the item you recieve by changing the item id ? and why is the trade different when you dual box

This will not work because the item has to be bound to you to show in the wardrobe.

Semi related so I thought I''d comment here instead of making my own post but I believe it is possible to transmog more than the standard UI will allow you.
I've had several issues where my weapon would randomly transmog to a pair of pants, bracers, or even a chest item. I have also been able to put weapon illusions on weapons that are not usually able to receive them simply by swapping an item that can receive the illusion with an item that can not such as a fishing pole or gun and then click accept.
TL;DR seems like some of the transmog limitations are client side and should be exploitable.

Indeed they are, don't you know about tMorph ?
You don't even need to exploit transmog (unless you want those weapon enchantmant), since you can basically change any Item DisplayID to anything.

tMorph is completely client side I believe though, other people can't see it.
What I'm talking about is some of the transmog restrictions may be ignorable and you can have unique/weird looks other peopel can see too.
