Making Money IRL From WoW or other games Questions

I'm trying to make a little extra cash during the summer from WoW or any other game like Runescape that I can as I can't work at the moment. I've been researching this for a long time and have had a few various sources tell me some different information. Some of that information includes that if you only make $5-$10 per day from botting it's not worth it. To me that's still $150-$300 per month - electricity per month. Which can add up! The best ways that I've seen to make gold are gathering (mining, herblore and fishing) and selling 2's carries. The best money makers that I've seen per hour are selling Challenge mode and Raid boosts. I'm just looking for some helpful information that you guys would suggest to help me out with making a little extra money over the summer. NOT willing to hack anybody just looking to setup a few bots or get into boosting which I have no idea how to since most people will hire you and then refund the money after they pay you. I've been making around $5-$7 per day average and wondering what your guys' thoughts were. Honorbuddy just isn't cutting it for me as I can hardly pull a profit with the accounts before they are banned. I've heard about renting your account as well.

Raid boosts, and RBG carries are the way to go for the most gold other than exploits that only 3 korean kids know about in bum **** nowhere. The reason that they make so much gold though is it requires a group of people that have really put time and work into the game to be able to do such things.

Well i've made a killing from dupes, but realistically i'd say you need to provide some kind of service that most people would rather just pay some one to do. Power lvling, achievements, ect ect.

I've been looking into getting into Raid Boosts but a lot of the leaders scam the people that help them and I have no idea how I would be able to start a guild this late to run people through mythics / heroic carries. Also with RBGS I think that a lot of the good people that do the carries use private scripts I'm pretty sure. Not certain if you can give me some insight on this let me know. All I know is that I am not the best at PVP, but I can PVE I was mainly looking at the gathering / botting aspect of it all but like I said people say if you can't make over $10 per day it isn't worth it, so I wouldn't know. + I don't know anything other than Honorbuddy that is good and reliable.

Yeah I was looking for awhile into Challenge mode boosts, raid boosts and leveling but a lot of the people who would provide you the customer or help you get into it usually end up scamming you in some sort of way so I have no idea how I would get into a legit business doing that. Do you have any insight on the botting aspect like gathering if that can be profitable because currently I'm not pulling the $10+ per day that people say I should be, and honorbuddy is KILLING me. I know that a lot of the PVP boosters use private scripts as well + I'm not very good at it to begin with but I'm willing to get really good at something to make money from it.
