Thanks for posting this man... If something like this really comes true, I'd be willing to literally pay a small 'fortune' every month to play it, with also paying for the current content subscription, and I think many people will do the same thing... I just hope Blizzard reaches over to use, and makes this into a reality.. Cheers

nost are sell outs, they should have released code back to mangos using it for a card to blizzard is just dumb cause just like minecraft and bukkit if they sell out, mangos will have a legal standpoint against them, bliz wont make legacy servers they may do pristine but they wont make legacy servers, to me its a waste of time.

There is no way to know that at all. the communities pushback has really punched blizzard in the face. 1 year ago Blizzard woulda never even made a post regarding the issue and yet here we are. However with that negative attitude nothing positive will ever happen. You can be a negative Nancyall you want but I'm not giving up that easily and neither are the nos team or the 250k plus people who signed and are hopefully filling out the survey.

It's not a card, it's coming forward.Blizz is willing to meet them. When they can achieve something with that, why would they release the code?

hey i signed the petition im all for blizz legacy servers, my gripe is with nost, they use a open source server yeah they added some anti cheat did some bug fixes some extra scripting, IMO they should with out adoubt release the mangos code back to mangos to help improve the private servers, the whole thing about open source is to be open ,share and learn together, not take take then keep and use as a card to get somewhere in life.
I'm a full suporter of open source and its a kick in the teeth to those at mangos who work days nights getting it to where it is now. and what happen when blizz say no to legacy servers and while in there meeting lawers say if you release it expect law suits, or even worse take a bribe to keep it hidden so to me sell outs untill they release it.
anyone who thinks they are doing the right thing is wrong the right thing is to say hey blizz here is the voices of everyone else do something about it cause now you shut us down we just gonna give back and you can deal with 100s of great private servers, or man up and make what people want.
also look at bukkit for minecraft when they sold bukkit to mojang and got jobs from it what happen, the orginal maker dcma them and bukkit is offically dead beacuse of it, just think about it in long run its better for comunity to have a perfected wow server out there free for everyone, maybe then wow migh tsay you know what we should bring back legacy servers, cause when it comes done to it blizz cant say there lossing subs because of those servers, why? because blizz does not offer those server for people to play.

Not everyone has something to contribute with, but there's no reason to be rude.
