Question on a particular wow account and it's price (link inside)
Hey,
I was wondering how much accounts actually go for?
Along one other I have one particularly in mind. This one has over 20k achi points, 260k+ mounts, all heirlooms, a classic toon, most griny achivements done in the game, almost all pre-mop mounts dropping from raids (so basicly almost all grind is done), a toon with CM weaps, 8 100s, 2 with full pvp gear, over 160k gold, all legendaries, X-51 Nether-Rocket X-TREME mount etc
Link: World of Warcraft WoW Prestige Account | 20k+ Erfolge, 260+ mounts, CM Waffen | eBay
Is the prize right and justifiable by all what s/he has achieved?
My friend has bought an acc from him and all is fine, nice guy - I just wanted to know if the amount of 1490 euros is fine
Your word on it?

wanting to buy or selling it?
I just know that I have done a couple of grindy achievements myself and I can, to some degree, understand how the price comes together - looking at the achievements
I know for sure he is not gonna sell it for 500 to me, since it alone includes the epic rocket which has a value around 300 + above 250 mounts, + 20k achievements are 500 alone.. seeing such accounts on ebay normale start at 700,800. Have not seen it cheaper or wouldve bought it for sure

Rank 1s, realm firsts, unobtainable mounts, stuff like that. I think the game has moved on to much for that sort of price, i'd be amazed if he actually got it. Dont get me wrong, farming reps and mounts takes time and luck but thats all the account basically is. 20k achieves is a few months work, basically you'd be paying 1.5k to skip something you'd get playing the game anyway.
Did he post a masked armoury link? I wouldnt mind comparing his to my account i currently play.

What gippy said , old title/achievements from realm firsts , gladiator mounts , basically anything that you cant get . Grinding can be automated so it doesnt really up the cost so much nowadays

Frankly, account selling market has been very slow / declining in the past months. I was trying to sell a near perfect accounts (99.99% achievements earned) including multiple realm 1sts, world 1sts, rank 1 glads, unobtainable mounts, t3 sets & much more.
The highest offer I got was 650 euros after almost 1 month on the market on multiple account selling websites / forums. Just goes to show that accounts are only worth what people are willing to pay. It doesn't matter how good your account is.
That account you linked from eBay doesn't even come remotely close to the account I was trying to sell.
As a seller myself, I can tell right away that is is super overpriced for what it contains.

Interesting, thank you. I have sold an 18k achiv account for 450 a few months ago.
But on the other hand, I was able to sell around 12-15 single char accounts with lvl 100s and full pvp gear for 80 sometimes but mostly 120-140.
Maybe he'll down it to 600-800 something
