New TCG Mount dupewave?

So, my Realm is kinda dead, which means basicallly no TCG mounts are in the ah. (I check it regularly)

This morning there were magic chicken and rare spectral tiger in the ah, both goldcap, both from same seller.

2 Hours later there was a magic chicken and an epic spectral tiger in the ah, both goldcap, both from the same seller. DIFFERENT NAME.


Can't say if its the same person, but basically that are lvl 1's. I dont know what happend there, maybe the rare one got sold and he put in the epic one. But why is there a different name? Different person? Maybe Blizzard removed the first both mounts and banned the acc and the duper just used a different acc to post?

Question is: Am I completly save to buy the Mounts? Is there any TCGs appearence on your servers?

You cannot be punished for buying duped mounts because "you can't know they are duped". In worst case scenario blizz would return gold to you and take mount away, but I don't think so". I bought Magic Rooster Egg, Spectral Tiger and few others from ah for around 700k gold each and I never had problems with it.
You are safe to buy it and nothing can go wrong with it.

most servers you can get a spectral tiger for 350K

what a lot of people are doing which I've even done a few times but cbf lately is you buy swift spectral tiger for $90 and you can request it on any server, so you do it on a dead server and try to sell it for 700K- gold cap and then sell the gold for $$$$

at the lowest for quick sell you can get $200 for gold cap or if you hold onto it and gold sellers buy it on demand off you maybe $0.30

good way to make some easy money but all depends how quick you can sell of the tiger for.

Seems like TCG mounts appear more often in the last days, since i've checked some TCG trade threads and ppl are selling epic tigers since today

I asked a GM once about that and he replied that buying mount on an AH is safe. In the worst scenario you will lose the mount and get gold back. But that is not the same with trading, they could remove the gold and the mount in that case.

They will never ever punish the buyer. This is total BS if a GM actually said that, he has no clue and no authority in the matter anyway, or just trying to scare you to discourage supporting dupers.

when you see people complain about high prices on tcg mounts just assume EU, the blue spectral is going for goldcap here.

Ya, mottled drakes, the raptor, and all the other cheap ones are going for 35k a piece on my server right now. Swift Spectral still pricey at 275k, but that's way cheaper than it should be. Some guy was selling the Chicken for 100k. It's definitely a dupe-wave.

Heads up, I think on the 17th and these patches usually fix the dupe methods. If you are going to buy your mounts cheap for your collection do it before the patch.
