Why does opening the void storage create such a tremendous lag?

My entire wow freezes on my high-end system when I open my completely full void storage (using bagnon) - what causes this? Can it be exploited?

It freezes wow for around 5-8seconds, its really extreme. But once it is opened (loaded?) no further freeze happens. Bagnon, possibly, yes

It's likely querying all the items in the bags, which does tend to lag the game, especially when it's all sent in quick succession. I suspect that bagnon does this instead of the mouseover-query that blizzard's own ui does. For successive opening of void storage, it shouldn't take nearly as long, as the data will be locally cached. I personally only use bagnon for my toon bank and bags, and not for void or guild storage due to this lag issue.

I am not sure if it will help with that but when i used to bot and it had freezes (i know it's bot but who knows, might help you) i set wow priority to high and it removed the freezes / reduced them by bunch. You can try this out and see if it's of any help.
