For a few years now my friend and I have shared my main WoW account. Neither of us is interested in playing wow non-stop, so it's usually in waves. I would play until i got bored, then i would quit & he would take over, and so on. I know that technically account sharing is forbidden, but nothing ever happened to us (though i, as account owner, accept the risk that something CAN happen.).
ANyways, with Legion coming we find ourselves interested in it, and it seems like we boht would want to be active. A solution we found involves using two WoW licenses on same bnet account (so we share mounts/pets/etc, but can still play at same time). That said, we both live in different cities (same country though), so our IPs are obviously gonna be different.
Its quite common for me to be playing SC2 while he's in WoW, or him playing hearthstone while im in diablo 3 - obviously from different locations - and we never had issues. This time, however, we will both be playing same game (WoW), just on different sub-accounts, and im not sure how the system will behave.
Has anyone previously shared their bnet account by playing with other person in wow at same time (with different IP location)? I know its risky, i know shit can happen, but does anyone actually KNOW from personal experience anything about this?
Cheers!
