Unpatching Warcraft on a Mac?

I recently found a private server which, after reading quite a bit about it, I decided I'd really like to try.
So, I made an account, edited the realmlist, but... The patch I'm using (2.2.3) is too recent, and the server is not up to date.


I decided I'd like to unpatch to try the server, so I looked at a few guides, yet they were all for windows. They all said the same. "Delete patch.MPQ and run repair.exe."

Uh-oh. I can't find a repair file on the mac version.
Yet, I've unpatched before, I just can't remember how!
Please, someone, (ANYONE!) remind me how!

And about the mac.. Hmmm i dont really know but you can try entering the WoW-CDs and see if there is anything intresting, btw mac pwn, want it so badly

Maybe try the server WoW-trance or Burning wow, i mean its really easy to update a private-server to the last version :S

one way is to ask admins to support 2.1.3 (that is easy as shit with ascent)
or find a repair tool maybe...

Put the patches above what needed in Trassh, delete them. Then delete WoW-Patch-Downloader.

Ive done this many times and it works, GL!

Aniwow.servegame.com is a VERY good Pserver though, supports 2.2.3, might try it instead, but it does have rollbacks now n then, only downside
