Hacked wow account

After a break from the game for some months, i came back to see my account have been hacked. All my gold was ofc gone, there was around 250k in total..
I then made a ticket, and got most of the gear restored.There response too, what about my gold?.

I have had a look into the issue regarding your compromised account and the missing gold.

The issue now is that the account was compromised back in April. Sadly we do not have the logs from that far back. Without the logs we are unable to do a proper restore for the characters.
All we could do was send items that would allow you to start playing again but was unable to return any possible lost gold.

I am very sorry that we were unable to return everything that was lost but do hope you will have a good weekend

Fair or not, they get the last say.

And i guess its correct. they dont keep the logs for that long so how do they know you actually had that much gold
