Instantly finish bonus objectives (unable to recreate)

Unable to recreate but naming that it is out, maybe someone knows how:

Currently I could multiple times enter a bonus objective, attack any mob or kill it and got a notification that x / 2 objectives got completed (of the daily 2x bonus objective quest). I was not in a group.

Looking on the progress bar it only said 1-2%, but the quest is actually done and I handed it in.

well it looks like I saved time today, I went to ironhor harbor, killed 1 orc and got 100% done on my assault instantly, I have no idea how to recreate this either

The bonus objectives percentage don't reset, meaning that if you get one to 98% one day and don't finish, it'll stay at 98% until you do.
That's what probably happened to you.
