World of Warcraft dual installation help

I want to be able to installl 2 seperate copies of WoW (in seperate directories of course) on my PC, one to play live and one to play on my MaNGOS server. But when I put disk 1 in my CD-ROM it doesn't give me the 'install' option. Just 'play' and 'uninstall'. Is there a way to do this?

Why two? You just need to change your realmlist...And back when you want to go back to the other...

Re: World of Warcraft dual installation help

The CD Reads from C://Program Files/World of Warcraft

Rename The World of Warcraft folder to WoW,Warcraft, Mangos WoW. Or what ever.

    Then install

Re: World of Warcraft dual installation help

Or just rename the first one "World of Warcraft 2" then when you try and install it will install a new "World of Warcraft", but anyways. Just change the realmlist to play private.

Re: World of Warcraft dual installation help

The installer checks the registry for the entry that WoW makes and if it's there you can't install...

So just delete the WoW folder in the registry
