Just a remember this festival started and there are a lot of nice rewards around so guys take this festival in consideration !
Even if you don't care much about funny festivals - rewards / achievements there is more for you to get here!
The best thing you can get from this festival in my opinion are the Bind on account upgrades tokens for armor for the Capital cities vendors and the buffs !
There are 8 buffs you can get with this festival and most of them works stacked with raids and party flasks and buffs !
1) Fire Festival Fury :
Increases critical strike chance by 3% and causes Fire damage to attackers.
I consider this buff the most important one since thank to an exploit I found on OwnedCore from last year which still works even now you can stack your flask buff with this and get +3 % critical chance !
All you need to do is to right click on a "Burning Blossom" close to a "Fire Festival" after you used the flask (or the 500 stats crystal)
Not only I think this can be good for Heroic Bosses raids but even better they are extremely nice for Challenge Mode dungeons where your item level will be lower and 3 % more critical chance x 5 counts even more !
2) Small food buffs: (stacking with any normal food buff)
Elderberry Pie ( increase Dodge by 20 at lev 90)
Fire-Toasted Bun ( increase Hit by 20 at lev 90)
Midsummer Sausage ( increase Haste by 20 at lev 90)
Toasted Smorc (increase Spell Power by 20 at lev 90)
These can be brought from vendors using Burning Blossoms currency and not only they are amazing for low level chars and twinks but also a small nice addition for raids and challenge modes ect.
3) Fire Festival Fortitude
Increases Stamina by 30 for 1 hour.
You will get this buff every time someone turns in the stolen flame in a city capital and you are in (even if you are opposite faction lol)
This buff lasts through death. and stack with any other buff in game !
This is just AMAZING for low level char leveling in low zones and twinks ! Also decent small addition for raiders / party grps ect. !
4) Bonfire's Blessing :
Target gains a 30% chance to inflict Fire damage on any melee, ranged, or spell attack.
You can get it every time someone of you faction uses a burning blossom on the bonfire and the whole zone gets this.
You will loose the buff when the opposite faction desecrate your "zone fire festival" or when you leave that zone !
The buff gives every attack (melee, ranged, spell) a chance to inflict fire damage equal to ten times your level. So a level 10 would inflict 100 fire damage and at level 90 you will inflict 900 dmge !
The fire damage proc CAN crit, dealing twice the damage !
This is very useful for low lev chars grinding or questing.
5) Ribbon Dance:
Experience gained from killing monsters increased by 10%!
This is a very nice period to lev up your alts and chars since apart all others buffs I mentioned you can get + 10 % exp by simply clicking a "Ribbon Pole" and dancing for few seconds close to it. " Ribbon Poles" can be found close to "Fire festivals" in almost every zone and this buff time gets increased by 3 minutes every 5 seconds while dancing until 60 min duration.
This buff stack with heirloom gear +xp and any other + xp buff ! (example: it stack with "Essence of Wintergrasp" + 5 % or Darkmoon Top Hat + 10 % xp)
For pets collectors there are also two pets you can get from this festival. One of them and the hardest one to get is Ice Chip by killing Ahune in Slave Pens Dungeon ! Simply que for it every day of the festival and try to not miss any!
Ahune can also drop a really nice 635 level staff called " Frostscythe of Lord Ahune " witch not only is a good weapon for new dinged 90 chars but also a really nice looking weapon for trasmog
(He also drop epic level 635 cloaks for all classes and Formula: Enchant Weapon - Deathfrost for enchanters who make collection of patterns.
The second pet which can be obtained thanks to this festival is Captured Flame and can be brought from vendors at the cost of 350 Burning Blossoms !
In 2015 (this year) they also added a third pet " Blazing Cindercrawler " witch cost 350 Burning Blossoms as well.
Also for toys collectors there is the new Burning Defender's Medallion for 500 tokens and the old Cozy Bonfire + Brazier of Dancing Flames at 350 each
There are also very nice apparel and funny items which you can buy from the same vendors (and use them also to complete various achievements) with loads of Burning Blossoms so make sure you do your best to collect them in these 4 ways:
1) Make sure you do Ahune the Frost Lord boss every day !
2) Make every day the capital cities daily quests witch reward them.
3) Make sure you steal all four opposite faction Cities Fires witch can reward many burning blossoms and achievements.
4) Make sure you go in all zones Vanila / TBC / WoTLK / Cata / MoP to collect and desecrate opposite faction fires since those also reward achievements , burning blossoms and gold
You can easy find all the locations of these fires on WoWhead and also on many others guides on the internet but most of them are usually at A or H fly path zones or in Neutral Fly path zones (example "Gadgetzan in Tanaris" or "Nordrasill in Hyjal" )
So guys and Ladies during next 15 days don't loose your chance to get all festival buffs witch you can use for leveling faster your alts or make easy your party / raids fights , achievements , pets , apparel and transmog items this festival have to offer![]()
