Its true most scammers are stupid. But some aren't and those are the ones you have to be careful about.

Are you saying that all 13-17 year olds are stupid? Or are you one of them and are simply making 2 points? I scam and I'm 14 and I got 2 friends that scam to, however I read full posts before scamming and I try to think of the pros and cons. Reason I asked this is because I'm sick of all the freakin' ageist people on WoW, stuff like "YOU MUST BE 18 TO JOIN THIS GUILD" Really annoys me.

So if you were saying that 13-17 year olds are all stupid. Please don't patronize or stereotype us.

Sorry if you didn't mean that, just really annoys me y'know.

Yeah, I understand what he says too, it's just known most kids our age are stupid, and geez, they are...
Well, anyway, I guess I can be classified as one of those two friends, and certainly most of the "Target Market" if you can call it that are, ironically, kids around our age... because the majority of them are stupid. Remember that guy you send all the way around Outland? Yeah, well, I wouldn't exactly call it stupidity, it's being naïve, believing that you would start a quest chain to get a turtle mount by going from Netherstorm to Shadowmoon then back to EPL, etc. Anyway, a lot of people would simply believe I was 14 if I hadn't told them, I could easily get into a lot of ageist guilds on our server, claiming I was 18. Most of the part about being mature online is patience, taking time to read things properly and treating others as equals and taking two seconds to even type a brief "Ty" after a trade.
Bad thing is, a lot of us lack that... which is one of the reasons why I scam, making people get smart...
And to read things fully. Like terms and conditions.

I scam when I want something. I never go to the extreme length of stealing an account and destroying it. I mean, if someone is dumb enough to tell me their password I will snatch a few gold and continue to leech it until I am stopped.

Sigh... This is such an alarming feature of the human nature... It fills me with disgust scrolling down the forums, looking at all the people bragging about their achievements, looking for recognition, but at the same time i laugh when i read about the ingenious ideas invented to screw other people over... Sadly, it is how society, we, have become, and always have been. People have always tried to fool less cunning people then themselves, reluctant to see that they're not just ruining other people lives, but also their own. And after a while internal logics develop which tries to justifie these issues, but that does not make them less wrong.... Preying upon those that are more naive, less intelligent, more trusting, or/and in general more honorable and kind persons than yourself yields absolutely NO honor in any manner, and it certainly does NOT makes you of a seemingly more intelligent kind of person. Cunning perhaps, but not intelligent. This is perhaps one of the most pathetic attempts of self worship i have seen so far, but the only thing this proves is your inability to think of anything else then your own needs, your disturbing ego, your impressing ability to blindly express your prejudice and finally the dark nature of the society of which we are all products. Personally i have never been scammed, hacked or done any of the sort for that matter, which is because even though i trust the people i know, i sincerely don't trust the people i don't know, which keeps me in a constant state of skeptism... Frankly i hate my own mentality but it's necessary to survive. It doesn't have to be that though, but i guess that is a lost cause nowadays...
I realize this is the wrong place and time to post such messages, but i just got to get that off my chest...
Good day to you, and to finish this of in the best possible manner, a quote:

A human being is a part of the whole that we call the universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as something separated from the rest -- a kind of optical illusion of his consciousness. This illusion is a prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for only the few people nearest us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living beings and all of nature.
    -Albert Einstein

(please keep in mind that i am not trying to insulting the entire scamming population, I'm just fundamentally against this kind of thinking, and many of the deeper aspects of these ideas does not fully apply to the wow "universe" although they do apply in some manners that may be less grave then the parallel of the real world, although still present)
