What to think about when buying account?

I've never bought any full WoW account yet, I just know you need all CD keys, ID, secret question and all that from the seller but from what i've understood even if you get all that the account can still get brought back by the seller and Blizzard can still see you aren't the real owner (checking credit card serial numbers etc).

That's why it's better if you never pay for game time with card or bank. I use gametime cards, if you look around for the best deal, it's not that bad. I would recommend using someone with good rep off this forum.

aslong you have all the info you can change the info yourself aswell, ATM im selling an account with 2 lvl 100 and a bunch lvl 90's. TCG pets, 677 ilvl priest holy nelf, and a DK. if intrested you can contact mre on skype, all ID's, books etc with it, selling because of quitting the game [email protected] add on skype if intrested it will go fairly cheap

What about the previous owner taking it back? Even if i have the ID, secret question CD keys etc, how do they do it? If they can.

They contact blizz support, give them all of the account details that they have and usually have to send them a photocopy of their driver's license to prove they are the account owner. Long story short, if their name is on the account (especially if it matches the credit card on file) they can get it back and claim theft. There is always a risk when buying someone's account because it's illegal and sellers know that. You won't be getting any support from blizz if you get ripped off.

You can, however, minimize risk by buying from trusted sellers, especially on this site (those with a lot of rep, trade rep and have been around awhile). Another thing to think about is what you want from an account. You can buy battlechests really cheap and just roll your own with a free level 90 boost. Farm gold and you can get heirlooms and level ridiculously easy.
