    Merging banned account help

Hi ownedcore. I recently realized that my old banned wow account (whoops botting is not allowed) still had a non banned account on it. I tried logging in on it, and saw that all my mounts, achis and titles are still stored on that account (basically meaning that the only thing gone is my chars, and their personal achis and gear).

Now, i have made a new account after being banned and played clean. I have aquired a whole lot of mounts that i wouldnt want to lose, but would i be able to merge the two by writing to blizzard, and keep all the mounts, and all the achis/titles (so the mounts and achis from both accounts where "merged") ?

I know i can do it without keeping the stuff on the account i wanna move over, but a friend of mine said he was somewhat sure that if you wrote to them you can get it done. Is this by any chance true? Both accounts are in the same name and adress and everything matches.

The reason i am not writing to them is that if i get told beforehand that its for sure not possible, i would rather them ignoring the fact that my old account is banned than telling them i made a new account and risking anything, even though the new account is clean legit (never botted on it, and never will).

Any chance this would be possible ?

    Thanks in advance!

Blizzard ban individual licences, not whole Battle.net accounts. They encourage you to create a new account if you want to play legitimately.

Now, if your new Battle.net account has the name First Name, Surname, Date of Birth and Country of Residence as your old one - which presumably it would, yes, you can ask for your new licence to be moved onto your old Battle.net account. This will carry over any achievements you've earned on characters on the licence you're moving over, any mounts you've earned, but pets will not move.

It can be done through live chat or a phone call. As long as you're the legitimate account holder of both, and you have a form of Government Photo ID and possibly your CD keys, it won't be an issue.

That sounds really good, but are you talking from experiene or are you guessing? Sorry for the weird questions, i just wanna know if its something that has happened before etc. And moving my account to the "banned" one, will that make it so that the account i move is also flagged? (Confused since you state that they ban individual licences, but encourage to create a new account)

Experience. I've been handling accounts for nearly as long as WoW has been out.

And no, unless you're being really, really naughty, they will only ban and care about the licence you're botting/whatever on. They don't flag accounts that aren't breaking the rules, even if they're on the same Battle.net account as previously banned accounts.

Woops, one last question ! Should i worry about telling them that i know that the account is banned for botting, since i have appealed the ban with telling them i didnt bot? Or should i just not mention anything about ban, and just ask if they can merge the accounts ?

You don't even need to bring up the ban.

You just have to ask to move the licence from Battle.net B to Battle.net A so you don't have to remember two seperate logins, give out two seperate BattleTags, whatever. It doesn't even matter that a banned account exists there.

When i contacted them they said "We don't know exactly what will transfer and what will stay. We know that mounts, pets and achievements are affected by the transfer but we don't have a list of which ones."... If you have tried merging before can you tell me what he means by that ? Like, i really want my magic rooster egg to go with the transfer, but i am scared of doing the merge now that it might not get merged into the other account ? Can you tell me how that works?

i've got a banned account as well, and am contemplating this, since the banned one has SC2 and Diablo 3 on it.

Both accounts have over 12K achieves.

Quick question for you and sorry not trying to jack thread. What if one account is in your brothers name and the banned one is in mine? Both accounts are mine though. Same address and all same last name just different first obviously

Is there anyway around this to get the accounts merged?
