Make US B.net Account from KR.

I have a friend who currently lives in Korea and he wants to play wow but when he goes to make an account it wont let him make a US account. how can he make it so it makes a US account so he can play on the same server or if the KR account can connect to the US servers.

Let him use a VPN and use an American IP just to create the account. Then he should be able to play on US even after he turns off the VPN.
