Unbanned by a mistake?

Greetings fellow WoW players,

This thread is more directed to the guys at the bot and program section.


I was banned 5 days ago for botting Archeology with the bot Rebot. And i was told that my account would be closed and terminated.

Well i wrote an appeal for a GM to handle my issue. This answer came back:

Hello XXXX,

I was dealing with your ticket a few days ago about your account being banned.

I just wanted to let you know the investigation came back and I've been unable to remove the ban from your account.

I've closed your other ticket about it, as the issue is now resolved.

So i understand it as my appeal and request for a unban is DENIED, but for some reason, i am unbanned again, played for 2 days straight like nothing happend.


Did i misunderstand the ticket, and is the unban legit? Or am i just "lucky" and will get the banhammer as soon as they realize?

the way the ticket is answered seems to be he did unban it, hecne the "I've closed your other ticket about it, as the issue is now resolved. Have fun and good luck!"

Yes, in context it does make sense that i am unbanned, just wanna be certain before y throw 40$ after WOD
