Making the purchaser the GM. Transferring the whole guild to the buyers server. Anyone has experience with this?

Should be fine. My guild made like 5mil from selling Garrosh carries and we split it up into a whole bunch of alt guilds. nobody got banned for suddenly becoming the GM of a guild with 1mil gold, so I don't see why you'd have a problem. if you want to be extra safe just tell the buyer not to take the 1mil out all at once. That's the only thing they may possibly track.
I transfered 17 mil that way in total its safe![]()
That's great news! Thanks for the replies, both of you![]()
GM transfers are the only safe way to transfer 500K+ these days. The best part about these transfers, is that they are supported by GMs. So in the event you get screwed over, you can actually open a ticket and get your guild, with all it's goodies back, no hassle. Best of luck!
Yoyoyo, in this case he would be the seller, so not really his concern heh. But yes, it's a valid point that if you're on the buyer's end, you need to factor in the risk that it's fair to assume the seller could do this. Trust your seller![]()
