Character Account Transferring

I'm interested in buying an account with some old realm first achievements.

My concerns are that I will have issues transferring the 'main' character from the bought account over to my main account because of blizz' account security features.

I am looking at different accounts on player[ ]auctions.com and they offer character transfers but they are double the price. Why?

I am hoping someone who has done this before (pref. recently) share what they know. Have to do my research first before I end up getting f*****.

you can't xfer toons between two bnets with different names. They would have to go through illegal methods in order to get a name change on their bnet in order to get it in your name. This is not only illegal, but extremely risky. tl;dr don't buy the account. I haven't had a bnet name change take place ever before but it's quite common sense as to why it's risky/illegal once you see how they go about doing it.

So what is the best way to go about getting a character with realm first titles on my account?

Only way to do it is fakeID (which is illegal) or create a new account with the same last name as the account you want to transfer the characters from. But then I guess your screwed if anything happens in the future and you need to prove ID.

Whats wrong with me making up a story like:

'Oh I made this account long time ago and I used a fake name because I didnt like to give my real name out on the internet' then just get a legit name transfer.... after that goes through wait a month then get the char xfer'd

Because they will just say "this name looks real to me" and if the original owner has sent in an ID previously they will check that
