Hello guys! For a bit over a year now I have had 2 problems in game. 1) When logging in it says Success for about 1 minute before I actually get into the character list aswell as 1 minute waiting time whenever I am trying to switch servers.

2) I have lost so much Arena rating now from Transfer Aborted: Instance not found it's just sad, and I keep getting it all the time. I just got it 3 times in a row so I am no longer able to play arena.


I have done the following: Clicked on everything in the Network Settings on WoW

Clicked off all Network settings.

Only had Available iPve6

Only had Optimize Network for speed.

Deleted all my Addons

Reinstalled WoW, came back after a few weeks again.

Reset my router.

There is nothing wrong with my internet either.


This is starting to piss me off since I have tried every single thing that I have found online aswell as making about 6 tickets to Blizzard and if I get 1 single more response from Blizzard telling me that it has to do with my addons I am done with life.

I will be forever in debt to whoever can actually help me out and fix this since it's stopping me from doing so much!

I would do a post in the technical forum of wow.
Get the IP address of the realm you're on and do a traceroute on it.
What is your typical ping in game?

Recently the servers have been really bad. If you look at the technical forums there is a lot of instance transfer failed.

I've heard of some people who get this problem after using peerblock and not disabling it correctly.
Have you used any programs to block IP's?

I am not too good with all this computer stuff so I don't know. I have used Hotspot shield and Media Hint though if that can cause it?

@iispy: My ms ingame is usually 60 home and world which isn't too bad I think.

You said you re-installed wow and it was fine for a few weeks before coming back. Sounds like it could be on their end. That, or some program you occasionally run is interfering with it.

Couple of things; I've had this problem in the past and have managed to resolve it a few times by trying different things (don't ask me for specifics). Enabling IPv6 support in-game will nearly always cause an issue if you're using an unsupported wireless adapter, so my first thing is "turn that off" as well as "Optimize Network". Secondly, when you say you've deleted your add-ons, have you manually been in and deleted the addon folders? Although disabling them will prevent them from loading in-game, the files are still loaded up until the point of character selection. Furthermore, make sure you're not using a proxy or that a virus hasn't set your proxy to 127.0.0.1 as some tend to do, that tends to cause problems lol. Finally, disable and re-enable your wireless adapter and clear your DNS and IP via CMD.

Oh, and if you're using an anti-virus that has live scan, turn the live scanning off. I have a personal suspicion that that's what causes it but I have no proof.
