wow 1 month trail account

I remember seeing a thread on how to sign up a trial account and then say you're going to pay for the regular account then cancel that month but they give it to you for free can anyone tell me how to do this?

I'm sorry if it's in the wrong section but I know it's been done before.

you need an authentication key to activate the account, then you can pay, you get those keys from buying regular wow, which at target and other places it is $20, so i don't get the purpose of this post...?
