hide on Real-id using firewall on 1119 port

hello, since last week and this method hasnt been working for me, is it just me, or can anyone else clarify that using windows firewall and making a new rule to block the port 1119 to disconnect battle.net real-id does not work anymore? if this is the case my speculation is that blizzard has done something new with real-id port since last week's reset.

if someone can actually know what they changed and give me the new port to block, i'd appreciate it. cheers

Try this, It's a really old tool i got from "Hotpockets" back in the Pirox days.

I never have problems with it

EDIT: The ports vary by region, this tool covers EU/US or both at the same time, if you are in another region i'll edit it for you.

it's clean, i'll upload a scan just in case too.

    Download Real.Disabler.rar @ UppIT

Yeah, it's still working fine. I'm guessing he/they forgot to add the rule to all locations (Home/Pub/Priv)
That's why i linked the Disabler from pirox, so much easier disabling + re-enabling on the fly with it :3

Thats really weird guys, cause I am doing it the right way, TCP 1119 then block port, all connections.

it is still not working for me, the only different i have is i'm using windows 8.1, should I do something extra with windows 8.1? cause I can't think of anything.

Use the disabler i linked. it works perfect. every time. any version of windows.

enable windows firewall, use the disabler, update status on bnet, should be golden.

ill try, but whenever i click the link to download it, my virus program pops a blocking thingie, ESET NOD32 antivirus program, im sure its nothing since you are linking it here, but you know these programs, and i'm not sure how to give that link exception either but in my firewall setting i'm sure that everything is 100% right, even these 3 things you mentioned i "checked" mark on them.

did you try updating your bnet status after disabling and are you sure windows firewall is running on all 3 connections? Home, private & work? (or whatever you have there)

If this doesn't work i'll look into it for you, no problem.

Also, you are on the EU/US servers aint you? :P

yes I am in EU, and i made sure all 3 connections are checked....I think its a problem with my own computer, but i am not sure what I need to fix. im confused about this now, because even tho the rule is there and enabled, the bnet doesn't disconnect immediate, and just few mins ago, I had bnet disconnected, then i tried relogging into WoW with that rule still enabled, and it logged me normally, it is suppose to not be able to connect to the game at all while the rule is enabled.

anyway but now, i still have rule enabled and i'm in game and bnet real-id is showing up, it doesnt want to disconnect anymore, thats why it is confusing me.

Im having An odd issue getting my Bnet disabled as well.
I used it a while back (Havent used it for at least 2-3 months now) with no issues, I manually enabled/disabled my rules to shut it off.

I tried using it again today and now it no longer works. It completely disconnects me from the game, not just Bnet.
Tried using the tool to do it as well, same results.
