Starter to Standard

I'm new to using the cheap battlechest accounts but thought I would try it. Created a brand new bnet account, created a starter account then used a link to purchase battlechest for $10 US account. It shows my account is now a standard account but I have no option to send a RAF link. My plan is to create a 5 man team.
When I go to the forums, at the bottom of any post I look at it states

"Starter Edition accounts do not have the ability to create posts or use the rating buttons. Please upgrade to a full account to enable these features. Forums that you have permission to post in are marked as [Limited] on the forum list."

When I go look at my account on bnet it shows

am I missing something?

After upgrading it can take up to 24 hours for the accounts to actually upgrade.

Sometimes it can be even longer. The GM in live chat told me that slowly give you full functionality over time. So first group invites, then whispers and so on. Talk to someone in live chat if it takes too long. That's what I've always done.
