People falsely advertising how gold they make farming

I've been to all the popular farming spots and the best one I found could only bring in around 4000g-5000g an hr on average adding up the worth of all the items and liquid gold. Currently there are about 5 streamers on twitch that play on US servers saying they make 10k gold an hr at wayward Isle and Sra' Vess which I find to be impossible. I'll ask them for proof or for them to quantify their per hr gains and I get banned by them or the moderators. My characters have higher item level than the characters they are farming with so its not that I'm not killing them fast enough. Are the streamers just exaggerating?

no they arent. gold is straight up 5k instantly every hour.

at the moment im farming cloth. i farm maybe 4-5 hours a day, total mats from that is about, 9-12k, so about 2k/hour.


Now, thats 2k an hour worth of cloth, things to de, everything that drops. I then need to spend time turning that cloth into dust/bags or whatever i want to sell. then i need the time to sell it. So farming everything to sell may give you 5k an hour. but getting that 5k out of the items takes time







AALLLSOOO. it heavily depends on your realms AH, the times and days you sell all your stuff. And you might get a boe epic thats worth 2-3k every now and then to boost the 'average gph'
lots of things to factor in to get a solid gph amount.

What exactly are you asking proof of. there is no solid way to get 10k/hr. it 100% depends on your servers prices.

Anything is possible, just go to a realm with good economy where you can sell things for a lot of gold, and you just increased your gold rate from 5k/hour to 10k/hour.

I don't just take peoples word for things, I test them out for myself like I have for these spots for about a week now and I only make about 5k an hr at these spots. I doubt im doing anything wrong but, I realize that might be the case so I'm asking for help.

That just means your realm is only capable of 5k/hour.
Not all realms have the same economy. you might be able to sell one thing for 100g on your realm, but another might sell for 250 on another. gold per hour is VERY heavily based on server economy's

My server is among the highest populated and I just used wowuction.com once again to see how the economies compare to mine for what I'm selling on the auction house. My server is on par with Illidan US Horde, Stormrage US Alliance and Proudmoore US Alliance. Server choice isn't the problem for me.

Highest pop is often the worst for gold per hour. more people = more things on ah = lower prices.
i play frostmourne alliance, golden lotus is 25g each.
On frostmourne horde golden lotus is 33g each.

Alliance is far more populated that horde.



And does it matter how much gold per hour someone else is making compared to you? 5k/hour is pretty good and id be happy with that, 10k/hour would be the absolute BEST they make, using flasks/treasure finding pots/timeless gear that makes more gold drop off mobs, whatever it is they use.

In order to actually make all this gold you are pretty much going to need all professions at max + Tailoring on the character that you're farming on in order to get the maximum amount of cloth.

I meant to say that my servers on par with Illidan US Horde on how much is sold per day, the price per stack sells higher on my server than Illidan Horde US so, the server I'm on is fine for what I'm selling. And I'm trying to make more than what I currently make so that's why I'm asking for proof of how they make 10k an hr and the streamers just ban me for questioning them.

You don't understand the first post... All I'm asking is, is making 10k an hr possible at those spots. If it is possible don't just say that it is possible, show how its possible and if you can't show how its possible or don't wish to take the time to do so then why post.

how can we show its possible? its farmed over one hour how can you possibly show that?
its just plain impossible to show, unless someone takes a whole day to record them farming that spot, and showing themselves selling everything afterwards.


again, does it matter? if they make 7k an hour but say 10k an hour big deal. your making 5k/hour and thats what matters.
