I see this being spammed all day in /2. Never really believed in this stuff but maybe this is true? Can anyone confirm ?

They are all scammers, they use stolen credit cards to buy the gametime and then they will sell it for gold.

Well 20k from random is a scam. but I have been buying gametime ( cards ) for 2+ years now for that amount from some girl that also plays the game on my server... In few days i need to trade 100k gold for 5 months....

There is no such thing really as an "unfreeze code." A lot of gold buyers will claim to have these to unlock your account, which they do, but what it really is is they buy game time, then reverse the transaction. Blizz does not like this very much and I have seen people get banned on these forums for using unfreeze codes. It is also why less and less gold buyers advertise as having them now if they are trying to maintain a legit face.

In essence though, ya, this is not different. All the trade spammers saying they are selling game time or sore pets/mounts are basically stolen CCs, and if they aren't just someone who is going to do a chargeback, but it is very much more like a stolen CC to which the services are then reveresed.

They prey on people with deals that are too good to be true, like the 60 day game card for 20k. I've seen that.

With the recent increase in the gold demand, you can buy 60days prepaid game code for less than 45-50k gold on most of the servers, anything above 55-60k is pure robbery.
