Wod Beta key?

Hey! I am curious are there actually Beta keys or is it that you get an activated battle-net account with it on? I can't find a single thing on battle net saying that you can for example write in the key and you get it actived. I was talking to my friend who kept saying that the keys don't exist because Blizzard doesn't want people to trade/sell them so what is true and what is not?

There is an "Add Game-Key" button in battle.net.

Yes there are keys, you can only get keys from giveaways though.

But the way blizzard pick you for themselves is no longer a key, it is bound to your battle.net account automatically.
