What happens if you DPS him ? Absorb ? Miss ? Damage but no health drop ? Immune ? Looks like you're casting something but nothing happens.
What is the 4th buff from the left ?
Did he move at some point ? Used spells ?
What class is he ?

Absolutely nothing happened when you dps him.
His buffs were all standard buffs, nothing unusual about any of them.

Its 360p because my comp sucks, and also because everyone serious
about pvp turns graphics settings right down.

I was thinking he was using the barber shop exploit raov posted, but I
couldn't get that to work at all in bg's. Its also a bit weird that he was just
standing there. People tend to jump around and stuff when they're
inviulnerable.

The experimenting I've done with lag never produced anything like that. Is this reproducible do you think?

I think you can do it easily, just lag yourself for long time and stay on spot. People will be able to attack you and everything, but you wont lose any hp.

Most computers can't handle wow at ultra, and if you are a hardcore arena/pvper you will turn your graphics down, especially when streaming. Any amount of lag from graphics can cause you to miss a gcd or an interrupt and such.

So is the lack of movement is the key here: you just vanish if you actually move? Or is he actually moving about clientside, we just see him in one position?

It is amazing something so simple could be so powerful in pvp. I'm assuming this wouldn't work in the same manner in pve (the ultimate tank!).

Wow is a pretty dated game thou? Even my old computer could max it out and a constant 60fps. But I guess I understand, so many people play it on laptops and they not exactly gaming machines.

There's a lot of people who don't want to spend money updating their computers so they can spend money on computer games and then spend money on subscriptions, and lose money because they're playing too much video games instead of working. It's like a junkie buying a fresh set of needles and crack pipes, not a wise future investment.
