I wouldn't give up on him. He released sandboxes for MoP and had a working sandbox for WS Alpha.

Anyone know how to put the new models in the model viewer? I extracted the files so i have a bunch of m2/skin etc. But cant open them, tried to create a MPQ file but that crashed the program.

That monster. Boubouille already has an updated WoWModelViewer for Warlords of Draenor. So I'm sure a simple edit to the source code could get it working with CASC files for us. So now we wait. Boubouille has an army of highly-skilled monkeys that are able to get WoWModelViewer fixed for WoD. So damn him..
