Mage solos world boss, does 120 Million damage in seconds

Edit: Hmm, it looks to be a mastery thing.

His ice lance hits targets for normal damage. However his icicles and frost bomb nuke the boss. So were looking for something that has to do with mastery. However, I dont know if its a buff you are able to spellsteal. Nothing looks odd in his video with the buffs. Only buff I see is the first one. I dont recognize that one.


EDIT: Anyone can do it, so its not a spellsteal. It only last 20 seconds. So were looking for something that might get put on you, last for 20 seconds, and increases % of mastery?

God damnit Advanta. Ive known about this for two weeks now but havent used it majorly. Now you show up and do this.

edit: I would assume this is the same exploit, if not omg theres 2 giant damage exploits out there.

It probably isn't. Or, at least, not exactly the same.

There are at least two ways I know for a mage to do a huge amount of damage for a very limited duration.
The way I'm using can be done in a variety of different ways. You can apply the same principle to other class
abilities with the same basic property.

If you want to give me a hint about what you are doing, without compromising it, I can tell you whether its the
same thing. I'd imagine you'd want to do that through private forum message.

You were completely correct except about some misinformation I supplied you with due to poor communication on my part.

I didn't honestly think anybody would get close. Will post full details in video shortly. Thanks for all the contributions to this great thread, i really enjoyed it.

Btw my guest if you want to try this at MMO. I thought they had a no-exploits policy. My guess would be that they aren't anything like as sharp as you lot.

Well your armory shows you are killing a MoP rare mob, and a DK right before your last 3 Celestial kills. Coincidence? I expect so. I got nothing other than I am pretty sure you're using Time-Lost Artifact to get there...

There is no CD on Time-Lost Artifact if u equipe it, but it gives haste......

....and it is a buff and he hasn't any special buffs/debuffs after the port.

More concerned with how this item drops you off right at the steps... He's clearly come from a fight of some sort, and taken a significant amount of damage from it...

I worked it out I think, It does huges dmg but not as much as in the vid, I am enh shammy.
