Addon for drawing on the map possible?

I don't know a whole lot about addons and what they're limited to. But is there such thing as being able to draw on the map like in Guild Wars 2? Similar to how the addon Routes use to do, but maybe just using your mouse instead?

I actually started building a external program where you draw your pathing routes on any mapID for Honorbuddy and it would create a profile for that drawn path. It worked well, but then I got distracted with work. Maybe if there's enough demand, i can bring it back.

That sounds amazing. I'm sure everyone would be all over that depending on how easy it is to use.

I can see that working for X and Y coordinates, but what about Z(height)?

We had all the nodes in an area. A full database of all herbs, mineral and mailboxes + we had the mesh files. We were able to calculate it appropriately. (i say "we", it's me and a buddy Fred from China haha)

Spoke to my friend. We're good to go and i'll be releasing a beta of the software soon.
