Some questions about bans and suspensions

So, about a month ago I got permanently banned for selling gold, this after about 2 years of selling every few months. I made a ticked and said I didn't actually sell gold, they replied and said they confirmed what they found and that they'll give me second chance and turned it into a 72 hour suspension.

Now, I'm not gonna stop selling gold. What happens if they catch on to me again, is the second time actually permanent?

What about other licenses on the account? Are they affected in way, like is the battle.net tainted as a whole by the suspensions and bans, or do they have no ties with them?

Asking cause I'm thinking to transfer my main away, and since nothing transfers with the character to a new battle.net like rare mounts etc. the only transfer option would be to buy another license on the same bnet.

As far as I've ever seen or heard they only ban the license. My battlenet has two permanently banned accounts on it, but my BNet as a whole is fine still.

If they take you too seriously, they could ban your whole Battlenet, or ban you by IP, or computer system. That usually happen in more severe violations, like tons of gold selling, massive botting etc.

I do not agree with you. I wouldn´t say that they could ban your whole Battlenet. What if you have any other games on it? Like D3, SC etc... from my point of view it is impossible to ban your whole B.net

They can ban all your (EU or US) WoW licences on your Bnet for gold selling, not D3 / SC.
They can ban all your WoW accounts on your IP when you did severals violations.

It's not as common now, but in the early days of WoW gold selling, they would ban all accounts across an IP. This still happens on occasion with powerleveling, if you use the same IP, which is why we rotate the IPs.

Nothing is impossible. Their system, they can make it do whatever they want.

Whether or not it's probable is entirely another story, however.
