Model Editing, Replacement Addiction?

Just a question for the Model Editors....
Do you still enjoy playing wow the way the rest of us play? Or has model editing replaced your wow playing addiction? In the last year I have had 2 friends that left playing live servers, one due to financial reasons, the other because most of his friends quit. Since the started playing privates and editing, I think they are more addicted to that than they ever were to just playing wow!
Just wondering if this is common. It does look like great fun I just don't have the time or knowledge to pull it off
