Crossrealm farming

Hello!

I decided to start gearing an alt of mine, so I went down to Domination Point to farm all the rares for quick honor.
When I started to crossrealm transfer for all the rares I did like I've always done in MoP, spam invite every lvl 90 until someone accepts.

But after a few realms I invited my lvl 90 first, and I got transferred with only my level 1 leecher the group.

So to thread point, It seems that you can now transfer to PVP realms with just a lvl 1 in the group.

Is this an exploit/mess up from Blizzards side or was it something I missed in the patch notes?
From 433 ilvl to 496 in a little more then 2 hours, I dont complain.

I think something may have changed recently with how cross-realm works. Today I was in a group of four level 90 same-factionplayers from three servers: 2 from A, 1 from B, 1 from C. In the past this would always mean that all players are on Realm A. However when the Realm A players invited the other two, we all phased to Realm C. An addon I have called RealmChecker reported 2 players from A and 2 from C and did not see anyone from B, and indeed we had zoned to Realm C even though there was only one player in the group from there. Pretty weird stuff if you ask me, but it might have had something to do with the difference in the PVP status of each player and server.
