It actually is "detectable". If they wanted to scan for that process using warden, they could. Just like some of the bots, if they specifically targeted you, they would know you were injecting the WoW client. They don't care because all you can achieve with CE is visual bugs such as this, it really doesn't matter. If they banned all of the kiddies that did useless visual, client-sided, memory edits such as this, there would be a lot of chaos.

Also, you can't start the game with CE running.

This one would get you third party usage ban, which is hard to appeal. Minor exploits won't get you perma banned.
Even this is "visual" only you are risking permanent ban just because it involves memory edition.

warden is not allowed to scan for running proccesses / tools outside of WoW.exe on computer, they can only register if you hook into the wow process.
and you can use CE sience years without banns if you do not things like exploits, fly/speed hacks etc.. so bann chance is low on visual things, because warden dont have the adress-ranges pattern to scan for changes..

He is aware that exploits can get you banned, he is using his brain. You need to think for a second and read the other comments. maybe also look up what an exploit and what model editing is. An exploit is, in short terms, and unintended bug used for an advantage, may it be duping, flying, being invisible, or teleporting they're all exploits without using programs. But with model editing you are actually altering the game using a program and not messing with any bugs or anything. (i may of got some of the definitions off so dont flame, but u get the idea)

Been looking through this thread... To answer people's questions: Cheat Engine is NOT detected, but the speed hack probably is. The guy who made this video doesn't seem like he's used cheat engine much, Btw. This is just visual and is IMO useless. You can change the value of just about everything in the wow client using CE, you can change your items, health, etc but it's all visual.

Better for you to explain how you think its not an exploit tbh as it clearly is, go and look up the definition of the word exploit rather than deciding you can only call certain things exploits if they are based around a bug in game. Just because it is visual only for you does not stop it being an exploit, using an external program to make a game do something not intended that some people may enjoy the same way tmorph acts is hardly useless even if it is to you.

cheat engine is totally detected... its like the biggest scriptkiddie app out there. of course its detected. plus people a few months back were doing some funky things with it in one of the private sections and were getting banned.... yes. its detected/detectable. QED end of story.

also reportng thread. bit of trolling and etc going on here. knock it off, stop telling people they fail at life and to use there "@#$%ing brain", etc. not appropriate.
