Possible way to ninja profession mats?

If someone posts on trade "LF enchanter to make jade spirit, my mats" and you simply link your enchanting skill then open up trade without saying "sure I'll do it for you" or something like that, you could possibly get away with taking their mats then bailing, right? Since you never actually agreed to anything.

Had a few scam me that way. Always got the mat back and the player who scammed me never come back.

Won't work if the victim knows how to file petition.
