Exotic Leather GOLD?

I'll keep this short.
I have 2 toons with skinning and I AOE grind exotic leathers(LOTS). Couple people approached me asking to buy ALL the leather I get for full AH value. What do people do to make money with the leathers? I feel like I'm missing out on some good opportunities

they flip em, turn them into something else, which sells even better. Most likely, there is a shortage on the AH. Look at LW, see what recipes use that mat, then see what they sell for on the AH. Take into account the current price of Leather, the number of pieces needed and the cost of other items. I know it's a bit of work, but if you want to know, thats the way to look.

My wife and I play Rift, there are a few items you can flip in the same manner. Luckily we don't have to worry about all the nifty addons like WoW has.
