RAF and gold advice

Hello.First of all sorry if i post in the wrong place.I bought a battlechest,cata and mop keys and i would like to start making some money if possible.Now i dont know that to do.I am thinking at lvling the new character on the realm my main account's characters are so i can help him lvl(i am thinking at that pet battles way of lvling if it still works in 5.3) but the thing is that the realm is not what it used to be,it is dying slowly.The realm im talking about is azjol-nerub eu.I can go and lvl on a high pop realm but i dont know how much competition there will be and if it will be profitable+i wont have my main caracter to help him out.Where do you think i should lvl the new char?

PS Me and a friend will lvl the new account's character after that i will let him play/farm and i will take care of the selling and all that because he has no idea what it is all about.I might get some botting going on it aswell if my friend is not eficient but im kind of scared since i have never done it.
