Missing night ingame

So for sometime now I felt something is missing from the not_so_old atmosphere of WoW but couldn't tell what the hell was it.

Tonight I came across this photo album on imgur from someone who seems to have tweaked the light ingame :World of Warcraft - Imgur

How cool would it be if the night would be actually as dark as in 8th + photos? Maybe if you had to carry a torch or something, lanterns or anything to be able to see....I got a boner


Anyways so I realized that the actual day/night difference is changed ingame, and that was the feeling I was missing. Did a simple google search and came up with many discussions about the matter, on official forums, mmochamp etc, so there, i' m not crazy (yet)
