Instant resurrect in a battleground [Worked once, time to theory craft]

I was in a battleground, died. As soon as i died there was a slight second of lag server lag (not my interface lag) and the "Accept Resurrect" popped up where I had died. I clicked it and it ported me to the GY with 50% health (as if i took a rez).

That's it. Maybe we can look deeper into this. Goodluck!

Wanted to say I also saw this the other day. I was able to accept the resurrection and for a moment it looked like I rezzed where I died, but then was also ported. Then I was dead again though. So dunno

Doubt it was lag as I'm hard wired to a fiber line.

This has happened to me a few times since 5.0 came out. It's pretty rare and the reason it happens (I think) is because after releasing you become a ghost before the server ports you to the graveyard. I assume it just has something to do with server lag, though it may be possible to replicate more often if you use a third party program to spam an accept resurrection macro.

It'd be nice to perfect it thus making rbg rezzing OP. Major team advantage if say in twin peaks:
start as alliance, kill EFC -> run off the waterfall -> instant rez and be on the other side of the map in a prime location to assist your fc

I've had this happen a few times, last time was quite a while ago though so I didn't really think it worked anymore, was kinda suprised to read this. Would be super OP in rbg idd
