Do you expect gold prices to go up? Down? Why?

I'm looking for some info, what happens to the gold market when a big patch hits? The gold price goes up/down? Im asking this because I dont know if I should buy stuff with gold ( from goldsellers) now or after patch hits.

Anyone have any idea how it usually is?

On all major patches prices will always go up because the players will have new stuff to spend their gold on,also most of the players are becoming active (usually late duing a patch alot of players go inactive because they got their arena ratings sorted,they cleared raids etc)
So basically when new patch hits,players start playing wow again non stop,and they start spending gold on:new boe epics,enchants,craftables etc
Because of this,there is a higher demand on gold,therefore after u apply the supply and demand rule that govers all the world's markets =>Gold prices will go up

When i speak with gold seller / buyer, they tell me that Gold EU price is bad and Gold US price not too bad, i hope that price grow up, blizzard make some actions to reduce gold in game with Black Market and down the respawn of the herbs / ores.

BMAH is amazing gold sink, some players have few mill gold and nothing to spend it on. I have now close to 2mill but im not wasting it on mounts from AH or BMAH. For some reason i love those shiny pixels and only thng i spend it on is buying gametime from a friend in game....

But tbh im not sure. New trinkets will be implemented, much better then inscription one so i guess the price of those will drop, they price of inks will drop also. Some things like enchants will go up ( new items to enchant ) but that will be for max of 2 weeks.
